The name Butters has been synonymous with welding and plasma cutting machines for more than 50 years. The Butters AMT Group, established in year 2000, builds on this reputation and combines 21st Century technologies with improved manufacturing processes and, most importantly, modern thinking. Whilst most manufacturers have stayed in their comfort zones and typically offer more of the same, the Butters AMT Group has diversified and welding and plasma cutting solutions are now joined by fume extractors, in-line boring machines, profile cutters and automation components. But the new product lines are only part of the ‘new look Butters’. For each new line Butters has recruited personnel experienced with not only the products but also their applications.
